Method-2 Modify registry-

1. Click on the Search box and then type “regedit“.
2. Now, click on “Registry Editor” from the search results to open it on your computer.
3. In Registry Editor window, on the left-hand side, navigate to this location-
4. On the right-hand side of Registry Editor, right-click on space and then click on “New>” and then click on “DWORD (32-bit) Value“.
5. Now, right-click on “New Value #1” and then click on “Rename“.
6. Set the name as “EnableFrameServerMode“.
7. Now, double click on the “EnableFrameServerMode” key to modify it.
8. Make sure that the ‘Value data:‘ is set to “0“.
9. Click on “OK” to save the changes.
NOTE–
(ONLY FOR 64-bit USERS)
If you are using a 64-bit Windows, you need to follow these steps also.
1. In Registry Editor window, on the left-hand side, navigate to this location-
2. On the right-hand side of Registry Editor, right-click on space and then click on “New>” and then click on “DWORD (32-bit) Value“.
3. Set the new name for the key as “EnableFrameServerMode“.
4. Now, double click on the “EnableFrameServerMode” key to modify it.
5. Make sure that the ‘Value data:‘ is set to “0“.
6. Click on “OK” to save the changes.
Close Registry Editor window. Reboot your computer.
After rebooting your computer, the webcam will work just fine.
Method 3- Reinstall the Driver
If your device driver is faulty then it is the cause of your non-working integrated web camera. We will uninstall your driver from the computer to remove the faulty driver.
STEP 1 – Right Click on the Start button and select Device Manager. It will open the Device Manager window.
